EV-TT Transfer Center for Extracellular Vesicles - Theralytic Technologies
evtt.pmu.ac.atThe Transfer Center for Extracellular Vesicles - Theralytic Technologies (EV-TT) is a research cooperation of the Paracelsus Medical University Salzburg and the Paris Lodron University Salzburg to conduct fundamental and applied biomedical research and development with a focus on revolutionary and innovative, regenerative medicine and drug delivery approaches using extracellular vesicles. The EV-TT Transfer Center bundles the expertise that is available at Paracelsus Medical University and Paris Lodron University Salzburg in the area of extracellular vesicles (EV) and exosomes for therapeutic application. The EV-TT Consortium has identified the pressing need to advance in the direction of therapy-specific analytics (Theralytics) with the ultimate goal to provide process and technical solutions to better characterize EVs for their future application in novel, cell-free therapies. Specific work packages have been developed based on the existing expertise on site as well as on the advances that are necessary to improve the required skills and knowledge to establish the EV-TT as an internationally recognized center of expertise and reference for EV research, development and production. The EV-TT Transfer Center received funding from Land Salzburg/IWB/EFRE and Land Salzburg/WISS 2025.
