We serve as solution builders, facilitators and liaisons between citizens and city-government, working with groups of advocates to implement solution-driven programs and policies for more equitable and vibrant places. With effective organizing, capacity-building, coalition-building, data analysis, and policy-making, City Makery helps local residents accomplish community and city-wide initiatives that increase the quality of life of even the most marginalized citizens. City Makery implements solutions to real world problems through a ground-up, non-partisan, and project-specific approach. Our mission is to connect people to the tools that build healthier, more resilient cities. We have the equation to successfully incubate ideas and equip the community to take action at the local level through a non-partisan, process-oriented, bottom-up approach. City Makery has organized thousands of residents to advocate for municipal ordinances and resolutions, allocation of city funds, job and program creation, and more. Behind these milestones is the ongoing presence of meetings, survey collections, phone calls, and City Council agenda items.
