Launched in 2007, 229 is a multi-purpose entertainments venue which has played host many gigs, club nights, awards ceremonies, comedy and fashion events, gala dinners and weekend festivals. 100% of the profit generated from the venues goes back to our charity International Students House. We believe every young person should have the opportunity to succeed whatever their background. Together with our university partners and supporters, we provide scholarships opportunities, a community and a safe space to enable students to succeed while giving them a place to belong.
