Eastern Plains Angus, a 5th generation family owned & operated grazing business, has a continuous 100+ year history of breeding & performance recording Angus cattle in NSW. We've a disciplined breeding program producing bulls with a balance of growth, fertility and meat quality traits rather than extremes in just the one trait or one set of traits. Our female herd represents 100+ years of selection for fertility, low maintenance and an ability to cope with a range of environmental conditions. Structural soundness is also rigorously assessed in both bulls and females. Animals deemed inadequate are culled from our herd. Eastern Plains Angus comprises a herd of approximately 220 registered females, performance recorded and registered with Angus Australia since its’ inception. The performance of our stud genetics are continually tested in our own commercial herd where only our own stud bred yearling bulls are joined to a self-replacing commercial herd of approx. 700 females.
