The CN Yang Scholars' Club (CNYSC) consists of the scholars from the CN Yang Scholars Programme (CNYSP). It is run by the Directors and Subcommittee Members in the CNYSC Executive Committee and Subcommittees, elected by the scholars on an annual basis. Academically, CNYSP provides their scholars with unlimited possibilities in scientific and engineering research, both locally, in Singapore, and overseas. These experiences empower CN Yang scholars to conduct detailed analysis on problems, solve problems creatively and apply their scientific and engineering knowledge in practical situations. Through their immersion in CNYSP's unique interdisciplinary science-based curriculum, CN Yang scholars nurture their curiousity and develop their intellectual dexterity further to adapt their technical skills and understanding to fit any scenerio. Non-academically, CNYSC organises a whole host of activities that develop their committee members holistically. By planning bonding events, camps, workshops and volunteering events, CNYSC hones event-planning, event-management and facilitation skills. Through contacting and securing partnerships with external organisations and reaching out to pre-tertiary students, CNYSC sharpens communication, public speaking skills. As a whole, these events train the CNYSC Executive Committee and Subcommittee to be leaders who lead by example and with their hearts. Equipped with proficient levels of soft and technical skills, CNYSP scholars are ready to contribute and be an asset to any organisation they join.
