Affirming Works (AW) supports the Pasifika community in Auckland, New Zealand, through a combination of mentoring services, programmes and social enterprise. We equip young people to fulfil their potential through innovative mentoring and education, developing influential leaders who will contribute positively towards their communities. Our programmes are based on the Pacific values of love, respect, humility and support. Relationships are important to us and we believe that by providing a holistic approach we are changing lives and communities. Our team at Affirming Works strive to deliver on its mission statement through established and maintained positive mentoring relationships. Mentoring for young people is delivered based on our very own “Collective Model of Mentoring” highlighting the importance of ensuring the involvement of all key stakeholders.
