Tulum is growing too fast and faces irreversible damage if we continue to do business as usual. Unfortunately, the sustainability movement is deeply fragmented to the extent that tourists and locals don’t know where to find regenerative projects, products, and services in Tulum. Regen Tulum is an impact-driven digital nation of locals, creators, tourists, natives, businesses, developers, government, and regenerative projects who are working together to protect Tulum´s natural resources and its community. Regen Tulum supports projects that regenerate Tulum's ecosystem, culture, and economy by serving as a platform for exposure and visibility while connecting members with funding and expert assistance as appropriate. This project will bring Tulum’s community together with a common purpose, protect Tulum and therefore protect ourselves. Regen Tulum has a decentralized directory, decentralized voting, and a decentralized community currency for Tulum and the Mayan Riviera called TulumCoin (TLM). Regen Tulum’s Regenerative Projects Fund (RPF) is made possible by the creation of TulumCoin. How does this work? A fraction of each transaction made with the new community currency will fund regenerative projects which contribute to the sustainability of Tulum as a whole.
