In 1998 Marlene Guttman entered the supplemental insurance industry after running her family’s 50 year business in Cincinnati. With an understanding of employers’ benefit needs, this transition was a natural next step. Representing a single supplemental insurance carrier for 18 years as sales leader, trainer, and manager; she felt change was imminent in 2010 when Health Care Reform was enacted.
