Our goal at Low Vision Works is to facilitate the recapturing and strengthening of self-confidence for safe independent functioning. To accomplish this, remaining visual abilities are enhanced, the usefulness of other senses are demonstrated and adaptive equipment is used. Existing skills are strengthened and, when appropriate, new techniques for carrying out activities are introduced.
