Afreeka Santa Fe is a 501(c) (3) Non-Profit community organization. Our mission is to authentically preserve, present and exchange traditional cultures of Africa, in a diversified and global world. Our signature event, FIESTA FELA - The Santa Fe Festival of African Art and Culture, is the only African music and cultural festival in New Mexico. Afreeka Santa Fe was created to raise awareness of African cultural heritage through outreach programs to the community and schools. The goal for Afreeka Santa Fe is to teach, enlighten and promote both contemporary and traditional African culture through workshops, concerts, and public services.
