Global Business Services (GBS) is the organization managing key business processes of the CMA CGM Group effected across a global network of shared service centres. More than 60 different business processes are effected by around 7000 persons in SSC's across 6 countries, in support of all main departments and most of the Agencies of the Group. Global Business Services contributes to the Group performance and strategy through improvements in operational performance, costs and efficiency: Executing transactional activities with better load management and extended working hours coverage Optimising costs and quality through the transfer of activities to Shared Service Centres and continuous improvement programmes to improve process performance within each centre Supporting process standardization and simplification, and facilitating the implementation and deployment of new tools Driving transition program in collaboration with internal stakeholders (CAN, Corporate Finance, Operations and Logistics stakeholders, APL stakeholders…) to extend the functional and geographic scope of processes handled within GBS, to thereby maximise benefits for the Group Implementing a strong business continuity framework, thereby contributing to the resilience of Group operations
