Hello, welcome to Ithaca College Democrats (IC Dems)! Our goal is to engage politically interested students with one another, the IC campus, and the greater-Ithaca community. In addition, IC Dems aims to provide students with a non-discriminatory outlet to foster discussion about the political process and their role in it. We are not a close minded organization with a strict agenda – we want IC Dems to be whatever the members want it to be. We want to work with IC Republicans and other political clubs to engage the Ithaca community in respectful conversations aid in the formation political stances and education. Members are just as important as e-board members. Since there is a critical election this semester, in addition to our Democratic events, we are also partnering with SGC and IC Republicans to creat IC Votes, a campus wide bipartisan voting initiative.
