The Bürgschaftsbank is a non-profit “self-help” institution for the regional economy. Its partners are chambers, associations and top institutions of the credit economy. Their guarantees for loans and grants enable financing for small and medium-sized enterprises if there is no collateral. The portfolio consists of a total of nearly 15.000 guarantees to companies in Baden-Württemberg amounting to a volume of 2.7 billion euros. In the federal comparison, the Bürgschaftsbank Baden-Württemberg is the largest institute of its kind.
