Dust City Wood Stickers™

www.woodstickers.com

In 2015, Josh Gilsan’s Dust City Wood Stickers began production of durable, flexible, environmentally friendly – and fully biodegradable – wood veneer stickers. The project involved hours of research, engineering and testing in pursuit of a veneer with a printable surface versatile enough to mold and stick anywhere yet environmentally friendly. Mindful that even good intentions can go awry if eco-friendly products are made or packaged improperly, Dust City Wood Stickers are made from Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) certified materials, the only certification recognized by WWF, Greenpeace, and the Sierra Club. Dust City stickers use a plant-based adhesive and are packaged in completely biodegradable cellulose, with the entire process – from materials to production – made in the United States to reduce the shipping carbon footprint. Today, Dust City’s Denver production facility the leading producer of earth-friendly stickers for all uses with clients including some of the largest consumer retailers and civic organizations. Every sticker produced is one that won’t contribute to the global plastic pollution crisis. “It actually took me a bit to make the connection of Wood Stickers being a sustainable alternative to vinyl stickers. It wasn’t until I really started researching how vinyl stickers were made and how truly toxic they are that we decided to move ahead with a movement to keep vinyl stickers out of our waterways.” -Josh Glisan, Founder & CEO
