The Teaching Teams Program at the University of Arizona is devoted to making higher education a more 'hands on' process for undergraduate students. In doing so we train preceptors (essentially undergrad. T.A.'s) in skills such as communication, critical thinking, group dynamics, and a variety of others that aid in student assistance. As a cross disciplinary organization we take pride in the diversity of fields our staff represents, and the unique ability for our students to interact with classmates from different studies, creating new viewpoints and perspectives on situations that arise in both education and professional development.
