The XDS Advisory Committee was formed with the intent to employ subject matter experts in the area of external development to shape and develop the External Development Summit (XDS) for the games industry. XDS is the first professionals-only games industry event with a primary focus on external development. The program is targeted at industry professionals, service providers, and middleware providers, and promotes the cooperative advancement of external development practices for the games industry. XDS occurs annually in Vancouver, Canada in September.
