Eco Early Learning & Bush Kinder

www.ecoearlylearningbushkinder.com.au

A learning environment where every child is inspired in and around nature. Through the Eco Early Learning Ethos, Eco Kids are exposed to the practices and the environmental reasons behind it. With a clear vision on sustainability and the long-term benefits that result out of these practices for humans and our planet, Early Eco Learning brings together the indoors and outdoors; combining to create a powerful and integrated learning environment. Both indoors and outdoors environments are available to Eco Kids simultaneously, with each environment being encouraged and considered of equal value to a child’s learning and development. In both environments, children are able to control and modify the surroundings, so they are versatile and supportive of both play and education. We are committed to protecting our precious environment to ensure a sustainable future for our children and through continuous improvement we strive to be a better tomorrow than we are today.Learning about sustainability starts with everyday practice. Sustainable practices are embedded in the children’s daily routine and in their day-to-day activities. Each day is filled with what nature provides as we integrate cyclical lessons of the seasons. We greet our day with Welcome to county and share songs of gratitude as we prepare for the adventures that lie ahead. Our Garden Kitchen is located with our Mulberry bushes and a rock garden that has been given careful consideration in both design and layout to support sustainability practices. Inside the Tinkering Shed Eco Kids use real tools and are supported to take educated risks. When not tinkering the children are engaged in Open-ended, interactive play in the context of the natural world as we believe this is the true work of childhood.
