Le Centre d’artistes Voix Visuelle (le Centre) est un lieu de diffusion en art actuel établi à Ottawa, qui soutient et fait connaître les pratiques des artistes francophones et francophiles à un plus vaste public. La programmation du Centre privilégie l’art numérique afin d’instaurer un dialogue entre les artistes, leur communauté d’appartenance et le monde de l’art.Le Centre développe aussi des formations ciblées pour les artistes, les élèves et le public, en lien avec ses expositions. Il facilite les présentations, les conférences et toute autre activité propre à faire avancer la compréhension des arts dans son milieu.Il soutient l’émergence des jeunes artistes à travers des actions concertées auprès du milieu scolaire. Le Centre cherche activement à se mettre en réseau pour accroître son champ d’action, s’ouvrir aux autres communautés francophones minoritaires, encourager la circulation des œuvres et faire connaître les artistes afin d’augmenter leur visibilité sur un plus grand territoire. ----------------------------------------------------------------------- Le Centre d’artistes Voix Visuelle (the Centre) is a contemporary art exhibition space established in Ottawa, which supports and promotes the work of francophone and francophile artists to a wider audience.
