Recourtney Design Studio, LLC is a one-woman practice by Courtney Richardson, graphic designer, artist, and researcher. She provides consultation, education, and design services to small businesses, organizations, and individuals. As a researcher, currently pursuing a PhD in Information Sciences, her work is geared towards re-presenting African American histories in reimagined ways by crossing the disciplines of art/design, information sciences, and history. Recourtney's overall aim is to contribute additional perspectives about AA histories to a broader public. Practices have included: Textile/fabric-art, Type/Lettering-driven design (Typopgraphy), Design education, Brand identity, Print/web template design, and Promotional materials (invites, posters, flyers, etc.)
