We are building first Czech community ecovillage. Our Intention: 1. To build Zemesouzneni community - A growing community that practices a holistic approach to life and discovers pathways to a sustainable way of life based on mutual symbiosis with nature. (Currently we have non-profit Zemesouzneni association with 100+ member volunteers, providing community skills training and presentations on sustainability and ecovillages.) 2. To build Zemesouzneni ecovillage - A place for a community of 100-150 people, which provides a common community space, living in buildings from natural materials, local food and energy self-sufficiency and conscious education for children and adults. Supporting local biodiversity and restoring watercourses and the landscape. Providing experimental demonstration facilities for other interested parties, groups and initiatives. (Currently we have Social cooperative Zemesouzneni that bought 24 ha land for ecovillage development that was fully financed by community Zemesouzneni) 3. Practicing a holistic approach to business - An interconnected regional prosumer system for healthy products and services, which forms the economic basis of the Zemesouzneni community. Providing sustainability business to other parties such as individuals, cities and businesses. (Currently we are founding Business cooperative Zemesouzneni and focusing on water retention business and permaculture design. This year we expand to sustainable agriculture and natural building development.)
