Since 1852, Cayuga Centers has been caring for vulnerable children, families, and individuals. While we work to keep families together, we provide them with psychological, medical, and educational support. As a nonprofit with 170 years of caring for children and families, we always put their needs first. Our organization offers a holistic and data-informed approach to social services by breaking the cycle of trauma and providing a bundle, multisystemic technique to child and family services. We tend to the specific needs of each family by creating a tailored service plan for each youth and by meeting families where they are - we do this by involving the entire community surrounding a child, offering in-home therapy, 24/7 on-call support, an entire treatment team, and in-depth coaching and training for foster parents. We believe this approach creates an environment that allows the foster youth to heal and for families to grow stronger.
