WHYarchitecture.eu studio is based in Brussels & Paris, and working internationally. We are passionate about design and the materialization of innovative ideas. Founded by Yannick Denayer in 2007, the studio has since delivered projects at multiple scales and programs, including interiors, retail, residential, offices, mixed-use, culture, education, institutional buildings and urban infrastructure. Competitions and exhibitions -such as our collaboration at Pavilion Belge, the Biennale Di Venezia- are an important part of the studio practice as vehicles to test ideas. The studio research is also informed through our deep interest and participation in Academia. Each project, large or small, represents to us an opportunity for shaping constrains. By doing so we are able to deliver the unique spatial, formal & material concepts that we develop together with our visionary clients. We believe that tailored & diverse project teams are key to fulfil the specific requirements of the projects we undertake, and are experienced in forming successful teams with creative and technical partners. Our international experience -such as our longstanding collaboration with world renowned brand Delvaux- gives us the flexibility and know how to successfully operate globally. To date, the studio has been involved in completed and on-going projects in BE, LU, FR, IT, UK, USA, CA, CN, HK, SG, JP, KR & KW.
