Books on Wings® is a 501 (c)(3) non-profit organization serving Minnesota youth who are in under-served homes or communities. Our mission is to get quality, curriculum-related and culturally relevant books into the hands of traditionally under-served students. The primary operation of Books on Wings is to provide books in the classrooms of children identified as “under-served” in order to enable them to have the resources that they need to learn to read on grade level. Once the lessons are completed in the classroom, the books go home with the children as their permanent gift from Books on Wings.
