In 1996, ARIGO Software GmbH was founded as an outsourcing company of IBM Germany GmbH by Prof. Dr. Reihl and Jörg Seiffert. In 2001 Echelon Corporation acquired the company because of ARIGO's experience and expertise in LonWorks power line designs and Internet connectivity. In 2013 Jörg Seiffert and 6 key developers left Echelon and founded ARIGO Software GmbH again. The ARIGO team has a long experience in Building Automation, Street Lighting and Smart Metering.
