sia Pacific Fuel Cell Technologies Ltd (APFCT) was founded in March 2000 with a core team of engineers, scientists and finance specialists. Corporate headquarter is located in Hsinchu Science Based Industrial Park, Chunan, Miaoli County, Taiwan. As a professional technology provider, APFCT has been dedicated specifically to the field of proton exchange membrane fuel cells (PEMFC) and low pressure hydrogen storage systems for fuel cell light vehicles. These include scooters, mobility scooters, golf carts, mini cars and pallet trucks. Our bridges to the commercialization of APFCT’s technology are the fuel cell powered scooter and pallet truck products. We are now at an advanced stage in the development of both categories with proven units. Through APFCT’s signature low pressure hydrogen infrastructure system, we have the capability to move to a hydrogen economy for fuel cell light vehicles almost immediately. In 2012 the APFCT fuel cell scooter passed the Taiwan Vehicle Safety Certification allowing domestic operation. Over the years 2012 and 2013 we conducted the world’s largest fuel cell scooter social validation project with 80 scooters operating in Kenting, southern Taiwan. Users could access hydrogen canisters via an exchange system and were able to test ride the fuel cell scooter under real life conditions. Discovery Channel made a special report about APFCT’s core technology the following year. Such demonstrations provide comprehensive validation of our ready-to-commercialize fuel cell and hydrogen storage technologies.
