A structured component of the Career & Technical Education (CTE) curriculum integrating classroom instruction with productive, progressive, supervised, and (often) paid work-based experiences in fields related to students’ career objectives. Content is planned for students through a cooperative arrangement between the school and employer as a component of work-based learning. Our certified teacher holds an M.Ed and Nebraska teaching certificate with a Work-Based Learning Endorsement on her teaching certificate and integrates valuable instruction and protections for student learners and Community Partners to achieve both learning and productivity in gaining valuable employees and work experience.
