The Hungarian government set up the Agency by merging the National Development Office and authorities managing the implementation of the National Development Plan, in order to for an increasingly effective and transparent institution system to support the efficient use of European Union funding. During the 2007-2013 period, we are able to invest an annual rate of funding of 1000 billion for developing the country and closing the development gap. Serious preparation and planning based on wide-scope social partnership is needed in order to be able to invest this huge amount of funding. The services offered equally provide assistance for potential applicants and applicants hosting approved projects in the development of a new, European Hungary.
