The New York City Bar Chorus, directed by Kathryn E. Schneider, Esq., serves as a goodwill ambassador of the New York City Bar Association, bringing the healing power of music to those who cannot easily access it. Over the past 25 years, our 100+-voice ensemble has changed the public’s view of legal professionals for the better, one performance at a time. We sing interesting choral arrangements spanning musical theater, jazz, R&B, pop/rock, spiritual/gospel and classical styles with pro-quality richness and polish. We offer a flexible rehearsal and performance schedule to fit into legal professionals’ busy lives. Open to those who practice or study law, work in a law firm, in-house corporate or government law department, court, law school, legal non-profit or any other legal setting (whether as a lawyer or non-lawyer).
