As a lifelong resident of Louisville’s west end, Charles Booker has used his story to fight for system-level change in every level of government. In 2018, Charles was elected as the youngest Black state legislator in Kentucky in nearly 90 years. In 2020, Charles mounted an improbable campaign for U.S. Senate, inspiring coalitions from the hood to the holler. Now, he's running for U.S. Senate in 2022 against Rand Paul.
