SUMMA started operations in 1993, under the name of Interinvest, providing investment banking services as part of the Interbank Group. In 2006, the management team executed an MBO from Interbank Group, changing its name to SUMMA. In 2008 SUMMA SAFI was created as a Fund Management Firm registered with the SMV. SUMMA has successfully completed more than 140 transactions for an amount exceeding US$ 3,400 million including mergers and acquisitions, privatizations, capital markets transactions, among others. In 2014 SUMMA associated to IMAP, one of the most important investment banking world networks.
