Over 2.2 billion people across the world do not have access to clean water despite the best of government and social efforts. Contamination, poor sanitation, geological poisoning and archaic testing methods make it difficult to get real data. This causes over 3 million deaths, 4 bn incidences of water-borne diseases and over USD 3 bn loss to the economy every year. We are currently working on an innovative optimized solution that helps monitor water safety, availability and accessibility in an online real-time manner leveraging some of the latest and next-generation technologies. Our real-time data model will provide useful insights, alerts and notifications across multiple platforms and digital channels and has a positive impact in eliminating the outbreak and preventing deaths and diseases. Our innovation directly contributes to United Nations SDG Goal 6 (Clean Water) and indirectly supports SDG Goal 3 (Health and Hygiene). Our scientific evidence-based data framework will also help government bodies for remediation planning, interventions and future policymaking.
