The Denver Housing Authority (DHA) is a quasi-municipal corporation that provides affordable housing to more than 25,000 very low, low, and middle income individuals representing approximately 10,000 families in Denver. Denver Housing Authority employs over 200 regular (salaried) workers in a variety of positions, ranging from entry-level clerical and maintenance jobs to managerial, professional and administrative positions. The organization also provides employment to DHA residents through special programs. The Resident and Community Services Department employs hourly paid workers and contract workers who assist in the implementation of grants. Some contract positions have limited benefits.
