Dorset Brewing Company

www.dbcales.com

Dorset Brewing Company was founded in 1996, when Giles Smeath restored an 800-year-old brewing tradition to the Dorset port of Weymouth in the heart of the World Heritage Coastline (the Jurassic Coast). Since then, DBC has grown in size and stature, acquiring new premises in December 2010 to accommodate a larger plant and thus satisfying the increasing demand throughout the UK for its award-winning real ales. In 2011 we upgraded to a state-of-the-art spring water fed brewhouse on the Jurassic Coast, capable of crafting 1.5 million pints a year. With the involvement and support of other family members, the Brewery has become very much a family business; with the emphasis on quality ales and excellent personal customer care. What's in store for 2015? We’ve gone from traditional ales to experimenting with extreme craft styles such as Rum & Coconut Castaway to Bergamot & Vanilla Oh-T-Tea. This year we will be bringing you experimental filtered Limited Edition bottled beers and lagers using our new bottling and kegging plant. Look out for Chesil and a few others in keg and a pretty extreme 6% Triple IPA. We’ve got 8 brand new beers coming to life throughout the year and some great fun happening for the Rugby World Cup!! Keep an eye on it as it all unfolds on our twitter @dbcales
