Kindertagesstätte Haar gGmbH is a German non-profit organization specialized in early childhood education, running eight pre-schools in and around Munich, Germany. The first school was founded in 1990 and since the beginning our focus has been on optimal, developmentally appropriate, and individualized education and learning. In our daily work with the 250 children we educate and care for, we emphasize: - bonding as an essential basis for learning and development - connected learning and experiences to foster a deep and broad understanding and thought processing - healthy, nourishing food and physical activity - routines and rituals to provide orientation and security Our goal is to provide children with necessary skills to be successful in life. This means fostering their self-awareness and confidence, their ability to emphatically take responsibility, their problem-solving skills, their concentration and diligence. These are promoted in our day-to-day work within all our educational areas (music, language, art, community & environment, science, cleaning & cooking, physical activity, mathematical & logical thinking).
