Rainbow Mobile, Inc is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization with the mission of connecting LGBTQ+ people, and their allies, to foster a supportive, healthy and productive community within Coastal Alabama. We do not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, political party, national origin, ancestry, age, disability, affectional preference, sexual orientation, marital or relationship status, gender identity or expression. We are free of the phobias associated with the above and welcome you as you are. Founded in October 2017, Rainbow Mobile started a Facebook Group called South Alabama's LGBTQ Network, where folks in the community were able to share resources, events, and issues. A few weeks later it got its own Facebook Page, then after seeing the positive response from the community, a website was created in order to pool together these resources and, among other things, have a centralized LGBTQ community calendar. Our ultimate goal is to help create an LGBTQ+ Community/Resource Center in Mobile that will help build a strong, healthy, vibrant community and be an agent of change in the world movement working toward the liberation and empowerment of all LGBTQ+ people.
