The Modern Elder Academy (MEA) is the world's first midlife wisdom school, dedicated to helping people navigate midlife transitions and reframe their mindset on aging. Until now, MEA workshops were only available in North America, but a team of Australian alumni are bringing the MEA methodology and magic to Asia Pacific with the launch of MEAx. MEAx has been created in the spirit of the MEA’s mission to inspire and empower people in midlife and beyond. MEAx offers online and residential workshops designed to help people build their future storylines. MEAx is open to adults of all ages; MEA's students range in age from 33 to 88. What is most important is coming to MEAx with an open mindset and a willingness to consciously curate the remainder of your life. MEAx residential workshops are held at Dantosa Blue Mountains Retreat, a 90-minute drive from Sydney. The MEAx Australia team is a diverse group, but what we do have in common is a passion for sharing wisdom and creating a life that's as meaningful as it is long. Our team ranges in age from 35 to 80. Between us, we’ve lived in 19 countries and speak six languages. Our professional backgrounds span careers from management consultants to academics, writers, entrepreneurs and CEOs. We were all drawn to MEA for different reasons, but we are united in our motivation to share what we’ve learned.
