Hello everyone! I am Elena and I would be excited to be your Olympia Insider. I am a licensed tourist guide for the last 15 years and I have a deep passion for history and travels. Even though, I was born and raised in Athens, the capital of Greece, my roots are from a small village close to Ancient Olympia. That was the place where I spent most of my summers when I was little, listening to the fascinating stories of my grandparents about Olympia and its vast history. It’s no wonder I studied Archeology! After completing my studies in Greek Archeology and the Public School of Tourist Guides, I moved to the area and have been living here ever since. I speak fluent English, Spanish, and Greek and i will be happy to accompany you on a journey back in time to the myths and mysteries of Ancient Olympia. Having as a motto “Sharing is Caring “, I love to share with my guests, great inside stories about Ancient Olympia and beyond.
