Formed in 2014, Harlaxton Energy Networks Limited are an Independent Distribution Network Operator (IDNO); we develop, operate and maintain electricity distribution networks across the UK. For many people the distinction between an electricity supply company and an electricity distribution company is often blurred, which creates a degree of confusion. To put it simply, supply companies sell electricity, read meters and send out bills, whereas a distribution company own and look after the infrastructure; such as wires, poles, transformers and substations. Harlaxton Energy Networks Ltd (IDNO) provide a supply of electricity through a network of underground cabling and substations at LV and HV networks to domestic, commercial and industrial customers.
