Casa Nestore is a traditional stone farmhouse set in the green valleys of Umbria, close to Umbria’s capital Perugia and Assisi. The smaller towns of Tavernelle, Marsciano and Lake Trasimeno are just a short drive through the “Green Heart of Italy”. Our self-catering apartments are comfortably furnished, beautifully decorated, and have full central heating. There is also a spectacular solar heated swimming pool, shared by the apartments: located above the house in a tranquil position overlooking the surrounding villages of Castiglione Della Valle and Montepetriolo.   Our vision at Casa Nestore was to restore and an old farmhouse with apartments keeping the traditional Umbrian style but adding a slightly modern touch to bathrooms and kitchens giving a classic feel to the apartments but with the functionality of modern living. We have achieved this by combing traditional local builders and craftsmen and with the help of a top architect, Ian Wylie, who also built and owns a traditional villa in Italy and has many years experience in this field.
