The Europe India Chamber of Commerce (EICC) is the premier non-profit generating privately funded non-governmental organization which serves as the key liaising body representing views of European and Indian business and professional communities, companies, enterprises and semi-business groups having business interest in each others countries. Its members are the leading entrepreneurs and professionals who have contributed a great deal to the development of India and Europe. Our primary mission is to foster a bilateral dialogue between key business and decision makers, thus encouraging progressive economic policies in both Europe and India. With fast developing business interest including visits by European & Indian business leaders and other active professionals in Europe & India, the objective of the EICC is to provide substantial input into the various interest groups and to facilitate, co-ordinate, liaise and advise European and Indian business community who are typically based in most Member States of the EU countries. Europe and India are important regional and global players. The partnership between these two large democratic entities is an important constituent in establishing global peace, stability and progress. India’s image in Europe is changing. It is seen as a dynamic trailblazer leveraging a knowledge-based economy. A vibrant India is marching ahead but in order to make quantum leaps it has to forge strategies and develop new paradigms for enhancing trade and investment. For the investors, India is now a land of a billion opportunities. In the corridors of international power the rise of India is seen as an inexorable process. This view is founded on India’s nuclear capacity, democratic resilience and economic dynamism. India is becoming one of the faster growing free market economies of the world with a sustainable development model built on a solid foundation of entrepreneurial energy, youthful dynamism and creativity.
