Its mission is to conduct cutting-edge discovery research in disease pathways; to groom early career researchers to be future leaders in research and to collaborate with medical and industry communities for research impact. IMCB continues to play an important role in training and recruiting scientific talents and has contributed to the development of other research entities in Singapore’s R&D ecosystem. IMCB’s research comprises of 4 pillars of scientific programmes: 1. Neurometabolism in Health & Diseases 2. Cancer Signalling & Therapies 3.Cell Biology & Therapies 4. Innovative Technologies IMCB’s technologies and platforms focus on Mouse Models of Diseases, Molecular Histopathology, Cellular Microscopy and Proteomics & Metabolomics. In addition, IMCB also hosts a semi-autonomous program; the Molecular Engineering Laboratory. Through these programmes, IMCB aims to be a scientific leader with peaks of global excellence.
