The Historic Afton House Inn is a family owned and operated business. Owners Gordy & Kathy Jarvis purchased the Afton House in 1976 and was recently added into the MN Restaurant Hall of Fame through Hospitality MN for their dedication to the restaurant industry. Their 2 son's Dave & Dan Jarvis have taken ownership in the company and have expanded the business with Swirl Wine Bar.Shop.Club featuring hard to find wines by the glass and by the bottle, 2 or 3 bottle a month wine club and delicious tapas and desserts. The Catfish Bar and Grill has gone under a new renovation opening in it's place is Current Restaruant & Bar, opening April 2011. Built in 1867 the Afton House In now features 25 Jacuzzi and Fireplace Suites, 2 dining rooms accommodating 10-60 & 50-130 guests for fine dining and private events, Conference Room, Current Restaurant & Bar, Swirl Wine Bar.Shop.Club and Afton Bean Coffee and Ice Cream. The Afton*Hudson Cruise Lines features 3 dinner boats on the St. Croix River accommodating groups of 10-350 guests.
