Calpulli Mexican Dance Company's not-for-profit mission is to celebrate the rich diversity of Mexican cultural heritage through dance-based programming including live music. To this end, the organization focuses on the following: - Producing professional performances via its international touring company - Designing arts-in-education experiences - Leading community outreach programs and events that target immigrant communities The NY Times proclaimed Calpulli a "terrific company" after its performance at Lincoln Center Out of Doors. The company tours domestically year-round. It made it's international debut in the Middle East in Kingdom of Bahrain in 2013 and made its European debut in Istanbul, Turkey in May 2019.
