Napa Valley Youth Advocacy Center
www.nvyac.orgThe Napa Valley Youth Advocacy Center (NVYAC) opened in 2004 as an Angwin after-school center (originally called the Angwin Community Teen Center) dedicated not just to providing supervision and safe activities but also to mentor, build relationships, improve mental health, and help youth build real-life skills. Through 2011, the NVYAC has expanded to include both inreach programs at the Angwin drop-in center and outreach programs for youth, families, and community members throughout the Napa Valley. As a youth advocacy and support resource, the NYAC networks with other local agencies to provide youth grades 5-12 and their families with access to counseling, mentoring, consulting, and community connections.
