We are a small UK-based consulting firm with 20 years’ experience in Africa and Asia. We specialise in biomass fuels, renewable energy and low carbon development, recognising the inter-dependence of sustainable societies and the sound management of natural resources. We have worked in more than 20 countries on the design and evaluation of development programmes and the formulation of energy sector strategies and policies, in addition to impact studies, organisational reviews and technical training. We part-own two Kenyan companies, one marketing fuel-efficient institutional woodstoves and methanol gel fuel (PDS Ltd.), the other producing charcoal briquettes (Chardust Ltd.).
