Life as a Ginger (formerly My Mommy Brain) began as a platform to talk about the adventures of a work from home mom with an infant that never slept. Over the years it grew into a lifestyle & food blog that imparts to its readers delicious food and cocktail recipes, fun adventures and travel tips, info on events in North Carolina, products recommendations, and advice to live life as best as you can in this crazy, over-scheduled world. Writer Kate Kelly has lots of experience living in chaos, trying to manage everything life throws at her. Because of her husband’s career (no they are not military), she has become an expert in moving—5 times in less than 5 years—creating something out of basically nothing (dinner, gifts, entertainment, money), and navigating all the bumps and bruises related to her husband’s unemployment and job search. Follow along as Kate tries to navigate her way through life as a mom of 5, work from home entrepreneur, home cook, and travel enthusiast that rarely goes anywhere except the grocery store and events her kids are involved in.
