This is an exciting time for Long Island University. Browse, LIU’s new technology store, is open at LIU Post and LIU Brooklyn campuses showcasing new technology devices ranging from tablets, notebooks, desktops, gaming consoles, to peripherals and accessories for sale. All items for sale in the store are offered at discounted rates to LIU community members (faculty, students, staff, administrators) with a valid LIU ID. Browse Store Associates (student hires) are offered experiential learning opportunities on concepts such as inventory management, retail customer services, and business management skills, to name a few, enabling students to cultivate their work experience while studying at LIU. Store Associates facilitate the customer experience at Browse by greeting each customer with a warm welcome and inviting them to return with a fond farewell. Browse Store Associates are dedicated to providing quality customer service to each visiting customer, and they are a resource for technological needs and questions. Browse will host workshops on specific technology-related topics, starting spring 2015. Students are encouraged to drop by the technology helpdesk located in Browse with any technology questions. Certified Apple service helpdesk technicians are available. Browse is located in Hillwood Commons at LIU Post on the second floor and is open every day from 11am-8pm Monday through Friday, and 9am-6pm on Saturday. Browse is located at 85 Dekalb Avenue at LIU Brooklyn, and there is a second entrance located next to the Health Sciences building (previously gaming room) on the ground level facing Dekalb Ave. and is open every day from 9am-6pm Monday through Friday, and 9am-5pm on Saturday.
