Jantar was founded on January 15, 1992. as a school for foreign languages. In the twenty-five years of providing educational services, we have experienced a constant rise in the number of students, which number is about 1500 today. This has placed us among the top three schools in the Split-Dalmatia County, employing seventeen people, including fourteen teachers with university degrees. The growth of our school is a result of investment in the continuous development of our staff, expansion of teaching programmes and the modernisation of teaching processes, as well as the continuous branding of the school. The company’s mission is to contribute to the development of language competencies and to increase the competitiveness of human resources in the national and European labour market. Our vision is to become a nationally and regionally recognised brand in the area of foreign language education, as well as in vocational programmes for adults. Our long-term goals are to improve our competitiveness by introducing innovative ideas and solutions in all our business, to increase the number of educational services we offer, innovate our teaching processes by introducing e-learning and distance learning programmes, modernise practices by introducing interactive and multimedia content and e-support in line with European standards, to adjust learning programmes for students with disabilities, and to ensure our stability by expanding to the national, regional and international market. Since its establishment in 1992, Jantar foreign language school has been offering quality courses for students of all ages for a variety of languages - English, Italian, German, French, Spanish and Russian, as well as Croatian as a second language. We offer a range of courses, from general to specialised, all in line with the Common European Framework of Reference for languages (CEFR) and tailored to the needs of our students.
