Otimo is on a mission, using our smart app, to turn the everyday necessity of driving into a gamified user experience. Ultimately promoting safe driving; saving lives, money and the planet. Here's why: For too long, measures taken to improve road safety have been unimaginative and largely entred around infrastructural changes. As a result, due to unaccountability and lack of awareness, the roads are becoming more dangerous as the single-player mindset of drivers forces standards to drop. There has been little-to-no thought given to the actual road users and we see this as a big issue. By using mobile telematics, and real-time motion sensors within the phone, we are engaging drivers through a social and gamified platform, ultimately improving road safety and awareness. Within our mission of making the roads of Britain safer, we see the importance of positively influencing the drivers of tomorrow - learner drivers. As a result, our app aims to improve the skill, awareness and confidence of our future road users for their lessons, their driving tests, and beyond.
