After serving in the Air and Army National Guard, David K. Gross joined the Rocky Mount Police Department. He gained experience in all aspects of law enforcement. His career started with citing people for traffic violations and evolved into investigating high-level cases involving drunk driving, drug crimes, rape and murder. David was also part of Rocky Mount's Narcotics Enforcement team responsible for street-level vice enforcement and state and federal narcotics investigations. In that capacity, he collaborated closely with Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) and State Bureau of Investigation agents on drugs and firearms cases. David's experience as a police officer peaked his interest in the practice of the law. In 2010, David started his practice of criminal law. His perspective gained from his previous career provides valuable insight into his defense of Wilmington-area residents facing serious criminal charges.
